Our role is to ensure that management and control of property related structures is exercised in the appropriate jurisdiction in accordance with any tax advice. We are often involved in risk analysis and major decision making in conjunction with lawyers, property advisors, accountants and surveyors during the structuring of new arrangements or the restructuring of existing arrangements. As a result, we establish and manage a range of property structures which include vehicles such as companies, trusts, limited partnerships, cell companies and Jersey property unit trusts.
We assist in sourcing, negotiating and managing the ongoing relationships with major lending institutions in all aspects of property financing. This includes mezzanine finance, structured finance, hedging, syndicated lending and securitisation.
We assist our clients to whatever degree required throughout the investment process, including the structuring of the property acquisition in a tax efficient manner, involvement with the management of the property in conjunction with the property agents and arranging the ultimate disposal of individual properties, portfolios or the owning entity.
Our flexible approach allows us to prepare bespoke and ad hoc reporting tailored to client specifications. This reporting can include book keeping and accounting services through to final accounts, assistance with UK VAT compliance, budgeting and cash management for property portfolios. We also have a dedicated property management IT system.
